Mazer was reincarnated in 1999, when Eric, Johanna, and Cat joined the band. (If you're curious what they sound like, listen to Lies Heavy and mentally substitute celtic folk for its bluegrass overtones.) The current members of the band met in college, but are now off in the real world. They take gigs as they can, and are discovering just how many instruments fit in the band. In terms of influences and training, their musical backgrounds are wide and varied. Similarly, their current interests and other musical involvements cover a broad spectrum.
